Directions

By Bike:  We are three miles from the Tarka Trail Traffic Free Cycle Route, part of the National Cycle Network.

By Footpath: The South West Coast Path is just over the hill from us, as our adventure centre is approximately 1 mile from the coastline and half way between Westward Ho! and Clovelly Fishing Village.

By Road
(From the North via M5) – Leave the M5 at Junction 27. Follow the A361 towards Barnstaple. Take the A39 towards Bideford. Look out for the Brown ‘Ultimate Adventure Centre’ signs on the A39 just outside of Bideford.

(From Cornwall) – Take the A39 past Bude towards Bideford. You will drive past Hartland and Clovelly. Look out for the Brown ‘Ultimate Adventure Centre’ signs on the A39 just outside of Bideford.

By Bus
Stagecoach Bus number 319 from Barnstaple town centre to Hartland drives past The Ultimate Adventure Centre – Click here for the Bus Timetable. The nearest bus stop is outside the church in Abbotsham, which is approximately 2 – 3 minutes’ walk from the site. However, if you ask the driver nicely, they will usually stop outside the car park to drop you off.

By Train
The nearest train station is Barnstaple, approximately 10 miles away. From here, a taxi will cost around £20, or alternatively you can hop on the 319 Bus which goes from outside of the train station (details above).
